AVANCER is a French word meaning to ADVANCE or GO FORWARD. This is exactly what we at Sladden & Milne did in January of 2001 when we introduced the AVANCER range of Diamond products into the South African market.

We have since grown from strength to strength and have on the way become market leaders in most of the markets we sell in to. This was achieved by pure dedication, hard work, service excellence and continuously offering our customers the best products at the most competitive prices.

Thus ensuring that we have built up a loyal following of customers who know that we care for their everyday Diamond products and are just a phone call away if needed.

	As demand has grown for our products over the years we have introduced a number of new services, namely: Blade Boring – The blade bore can be altered to suit your exact requirements Core Barrel Mods – We can make up any length or diameter barrel to suit your needs We offer retipping of all size core barrels We offer retipping of Granite Blades between 2000mm and 3500mm, on site. We refurbish and retip the 250mm grinding heads as well as the diamond wedges.

Dec 2010 A well deserved retirement

Our longest standing employee, Phillie, has decided to retire after 35 years of loyal service to the company. As part of his pension package we decided to give him his delivery vehicle. Seen here is Trevor Willis, Sales Director, handing over the keys and registration papers to Phillie. Here are all the staff posing with Phillie, who is know the proud owner of a Opel Corsa LCV. We all at Sladden wish Phillie everything of the best and thank him for all his years of loyal service to the company. He will be missed by staff and customers alike.

This blade is manufactured using the latest state of the art vacuum brazing methods. It is made from armour coated diamonds on the periphery while the inner core is also coated with diamonds to stop the middle wearing out or "thinning" of the blade.
